2025: When Everything Went "Tits Up"

Happy 2025 to all my readers! May this year bring you the best in physical and mental health – though judging by how it's started, we might need all the wellness we can get. Let me break down what's been happening, and trust me, it's been a lot.

Political Chaos in America

The political landscape has shifted dramatically with Donald Trump's return as the 47th President. His immediate move to raise tariffs on certain nations has raised eyebrows – especially considering these are countries you really don't want to upset. Let's just say if they decided to retaliate with their own tariffs on certain substances, many folks might find themselves going cold turkey (if you catch my drift).

In a poignant turn of events, we said goodbye to Jimmy Carter. One might say he took the ultimate step to avoid the inauguration. Speaking of absences, Michelle Obama was notably missing from the ceremony. As Barack Obama fulfilled his ex-presidential duties, you could almost hear Michelle's words echoing: "I ain't going wherever that MF is."

The new administration has been aggressive with immigration enforcement, rounding up undocumented immigrants with the same intensity as federal agents in Diddy's residence. The United States is looking anything but united these days.

Meanwhile in the UK...

Things aren't much better across the pond. We've witnessed some deeply disturbing cases in our justice system. The Southport killer received a 52-year sentence for the murders of young girls. Then there's Lucy Letby – remember her? The nurse convicted of harming babies in her care? Somehow, her friends thought it appropriate to throw her a birthday celebration. (I'll let you process that one.)

In Glasgow, multiple child sex offenders were found guilty of similar offenses. I'm still waiting to see the same level of public outrage and riots that other issues seem to trigger.

Some Good News (Finally!)

On a brighter note, I'm thrilled to share that my work-in-progress show, "The Good, The Bad and the Cockney," was a smashing success! The characters resonated with the audience, and the new material landed perfectly. Keep your eyes peeled for more shows across the country leading up to the big one.

Also, Supreme Talks is progressing beautifully. Stay tuned for the official launch date announcement – it's going to be something special.

Check out my diary dates for up coming shows and any spreading of the word of platform is always appreciated.

Until next time, stay safe, stay blessed, and most importantly, stay spiritually strong. We're going to need it this year.

Christmas message

So it’s come to that time of the year where if you have a
conscious, you reflect.
I pray for those taking their time reading this last news letter for
2024. I hope everyone had a great Christmas, and the new
year starts off with the energy Elon musk is planning for the UK
government. 2025 is going to be a interesting year Politically.
With the reform party moving like Chelsea financially. The
conservatives rebuilding like Manchester Utd and labour well,
we’ve all seen the current form of Man City.
We’ve lost alot of famous people alongside love ones. We’re
going to experience unfinished business rolling over from 2024.
A time spiritually everyone has to keep strong and focused, I’ll like to
thank everyone who’s listen and watch me via Supreme and
the YouTube Channel Quincy’s Comedy Lounge. 2025 I will be
celebrating twenty five years in this game called Stand up
comedy. A career which has taken me all around the world
Bringing that funny. I’m looking forward launching my new
Podcast “ The Good The Bad & the Cockney.”
A series of live shows acknowledging my twenty five years as a
comedian and the launch of Supreme Talks. Plus many more
things which I will gladly share via the monthly news letter
keeping you updated.
Life is short and it doesn’t owe us anything. So lets set
examples and live our lives to fullness and I’ll see you all 2025

Trump Wins Again

# 🗳️ QCL November Post-Election Special

The results are in, and Donald Trump has secured his position as the 47th President of the United States. No surprises there!

## The Harris Campaign

Let's talk about Kamala Harris - 100 days to turn things around was always going to be an uphill battle. When your endorsements are coming from figures linked to controversial lists (looking at you, Diddy and Epstein connections), you're bound to lose those swing voters! 🤔

## Trump's Return

The White House is about to get another Trump makeover - this time without the dramatic Capitol Hill season finale we saw last time. 🏛️

## Global Impact

You know what they say: When America sneezes, the UK catches a cold! Time to:

- Stock up on those sanitizers 🧼

- Book your flu shots 💉

- Prepare for a four-year roller coaster 🎢

## Financial Fallout

Some major shifts ahead, especially for #Ukraine supporters. As for Joe Biden - well, at least he's prepared for retirement. Hope Dr.Jill put some of that presidential salary aside! 💰

## Final Thoughts

In these divided times (splitting faster than a badly baked sponge! 🍰), let's focus on:

- Keeping the faith ✨

- Staying positive 🌟

- Supporting each other 🤝

Mr Lover Man

I didn’t know about this show until friends of mine forwarded the preview via what’s app. Tbh my first reaction was, “rah Shabba got a documentary I’ll watch that!”  How wrong was I? “ I’m not watching no Broke Black Mountain” “ 🔥 on that” I rather watch Man Utd for 90mins.

Was the cries from the culture. Well I’m here to share with you all, this show was more than that. Great acting by the cast, Lennie James and Sharon D Clarke, their roles was on point. Lennie James love interest played by Ariyon Bakare alongside the rest of cast contributions made a show, I be real alot of culture demographically didn’t give it the time of the day. Now these can be reason they can only explain. But as the Cockney Prince my mind was open to stories and journeys and that when it stopped there to openness. I’m not ignorant to shut off to the subject matter. I recognise black people still need to address sensitive topics. But if you get offended by couple of naked black geezers scenes, and it's rhetoric’s. The Diddy trial isn’t for you. A story of not living your truth and the effects of what can be devastating. Without giving too much away, Sharon D Clarke emphasises the black woman effect in certain scenes. Which brings home the realities if you dont appreciate what you got . Somebody else will and well. I witnessed a family who could easily fit into Albert Square next door to the Mitchells. Characters alot of us could identify with. This is why black stories aren’t just financial struggle and Slavery. They come in all shapes and sizes. May our stories keep being told for all sides. 7/10
